Who is El Salvador Cricket?

El Salvador Cricket is currently an informal group of cricket enthusiasts, recognized by the local Olympic Committee (COES) and working towards affiliation with the national sports body (INDES) and the International Cricket Council (ICC). We are the sole organizing body of cricket in El Salvador, and are administered by a Board of Directors. We host our own flagship international tournament the Volcano Cup, annually. In addition we compete in the regional Central American Championship and participate in other Tours/Competitions on an invitation basis. Set up in October of 2005, ESC 7th season started in October of 2011. The season will be competed between 5 male teams, open to players of 15 years and older, and be composed of 2 competitions: the League Cup and the Knock-Out Trophy.
